I got me self the new volume of Deathnote and also the first 2 volumes of Fables. Damn, Vertigo titles never fails to deliver.

Fable is about the fairy tales characters living in New York city. The likes of Snow White, The Big Bad Wolf, Jack (and the beanstalk) and many others. It is great reading about how the characters from your childhood copes with the world today. Ever wonder what happened to Snow White after she hook up with Prince Charming? or What happened to Beauty & the Beast? Read Fables & you would be surprised.

And being a Vertigo title, the story is strictly for mature readers. Just like 100 Bullets and DMZ, once you pick Fables up, you can't put it down. Sigh! so much for budgetting....
